Stephenson's Rocket

Locomotion | Shildon

Constantine had the pleasure of delivering and carefully installing George and Robert Stephenson’s Rocket at Locomotion at the beginning of March.

Rocket dates back to 1829 and helped pioneer rail transport and the development of the first passenger railways. The famous five-and-a-half tonne locomotive was moved from the National Railway Museum in York and will stay at Locomotion in Shildon until early 2025.
