Walking 1000 miles for Epilepsy Action
Our Estimates & Business Development Co-ordinator, Emily Hawkesford, is on an epic mission!
From the 1st April she began a 6 month, 1,000 mile walk. That is around 1,609km or 2,500,000 steps in 183 days, in order to raise money for Epilepsy Action.
Epilepsy is one of the most common serious neurological conditions in the world, and for many people it’s a life long, life changing condition.
General everyday wonderings will not count towards the 1,000 mile total, and nor will a stroll to the local shop. Every step that Emily counts towards this challenge must be intentional and over a mile.
