Vacancy for Accounts Assistant

We are on the look-out for a talented Accounts Assistant to join our team

Key responsibilities/duties:

  • Processing of sales invoices monthly and quarterly in a timely manner
  • Liaise with the credit controller and other relevant department to resolve queries
  • Record and maintain cost allocation to sales invoices
  • Maintain and update customer records on various systems and databases
  • Monthly reconciliation of sales invoices raised against databases
  • Providing administrative support to the finance team
  • Other adhoc duties

Required skills:

  • High attention to detail and organised approach to work
  • Experience in prioritising work load and meet deadlines
  • Works well as part of team and in a multi-tasking environment
  • Strong IT Skills and a good understanding and ability to use Excel
  • Basic understanding of accounting concepts i.e. accruals, prepayments & deferred income

  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

Experience:

  • Sage 50/200 accounting software: 1 year (Required)
  • Accounts experience including accounts receivable: 2 years (Required)

Job Type: Temporary

Salary: £20,000.00 to £24,000.00 /year
